Guest room: Now this guest room is cozy and inviting!
Linen Closet: My client thought she wouldn't have much to purge from this over-stuffed linen closet, but once we went through everything, we discovered several sets of sheets and blankets for twin beds yet they haven't had a twin bed in the house in several years! With my client's approval, I dropped off her purged bedding and towels to a local animal shelter. What a win-win!!
Moving Day: I forgot to snap a true "before" photo of the empty pantry! I helped these clients on their moving day and the days following. I put temporary post-it notes on the shelves so they can get used to where to look for everything. Doing this will allow us to tweak and rearrange items to my client's liking once they have gotten more settled and used the pantry.
Cupboards: Little changes made a big difference in the functionality of these cupboards!
Pantry: Now this client's pantry is being used for food rather than odds and ends. By sorting, containerizing and purging, we were able to clear off the space on her counters and put those items in the pantry. My client was thrilled to have that counter space back!
Kitchen Re-Org 1/2: These clients emptied their cabinets before my arrival so, together, we could completely reorganize the kitchen to better meet their needs.
Kitchen Re-Org 2/2: Now this kitchen works better for the roommates in this house.
Craft Room 1/1: When tackling a big project, it's very motivating to start in an area that you will be able to see a big change fairly quickly. This client's goal was to declutter and find a home for everything that was on or around the futon in her craft room. What a difference!
Denver Closet 1/1: This wardrobe purge was handled a little differently than a "traditional" purge. My client was suffering from chronic, severe back pain so she stayed put on the couch while I brought every item to her from her master closet. From there, she chose what to keep and what to purge! Streamlined Living is happy to accommodate the client in any way we can!
Kitchen Re-org 1/2: This client emptied all of their cabinets prior to our session so that when I arrived, we'd be working with a clean slate! This saved them time and money!
Kitchen Re-org 2/2: This cabinet was a challenge given it's corner depth. We put lesser-used ingredients in that space in small containers so she will still be able to access them without too much hassle.
Unpack 1/3: Streamlined Living was hired to assist in unpacking and getting this family settled. Now this teenager can fully relax in his new space!
Unpack 2/3: My client's son was working his after-school job so she hired me to get him unpacked and settled while he was at work.
Unpack 3/3: **Exhale**
Kitchen revamp: It made more sense for this client and her family to have the coffee station tucked into the corner of the counter. We moved her coffee cups and coffee supplies to the cabinets directly above the coffee maker. This allowed her spices and cooking items to be moved to a more centrally located kitchen cabinet.
Linen Closet: Although I was hired to help with a master closet, I found myself rearranging and containerizing in the linen closet while my client was busy making decisions on the "what to keep and what to donate" clothes pile.
Home Workspace: There was more than meets the eye to this project! My client and I spent time going through her many years of files. We purged, created categories, labeled and found a new home for all of them (her new filing cabinet in the "after" picture). Between revamping her filing system and making the best use of space in her office area, this client is now set up for success!
Denver Closet: Tall, narrow closets can really pose a challenge. I suggest using all of the space available, even if that means moving UP! A tucked away step stool can transform your use of space in tall, narrow closets!
Master Closet 1/2: This client wanted some guidance on how to best use her newly renovated closet.
Master Closet 2/2: My client had a recent closet renovation which resulted in half of her clothes returning to the closet and half being stored in the guest bedroom. She called me because she needed a little guidance in how to best use her new closet space!
Purge: This client was downsizing her wardrobe and this donation pile was the result of one two hour purge session!
Pantry: A little bit of sorting and containerizing can go a long way!
Storage Closet: The under-the-stairs storage in this house is now accessible for my clients!

Master Closet 2/2: And purge she did! All of these items were donated on the client's behalf and she received the tax receipt.
Pantry 1/1: I sure wish this photo could do this justice! Together, the client and I sorted and containerized the pantry items so now her entire family knows where to find everything! Clear bins/containers are key (although they don't photograph very well!)

Now my client's children can reach their specific snacks and the pantry items are MUCH more accessible for mom and dad!

This client took one of my suggestions to heart by purchasing a corner shelf for her deep kitchen counter.
